Whether you’re starting out or have experience, we want to hear from you. We’ll train you on the job, and you’ll learn from the best in the industry.
We are located 1 mile west of Chum’s Corner. A valid driver’s license, an eye for detail, and punctuality are required. Additionally, you should not be afraid of heights, and should be able to use basic power tools (saws, drills, etc.), hand tools, and read a tape measure. Previous construction experience is helpful, and HVAC and gas line experience is preferred.
Requirements:
– Must have a driver’s license and be able to show up on time
– Must not be afraid of heights and be able to use basic tools like saws, drills, and read a tape measure.
– Previous construction experience is helpful, but not required
– HVAC and gas line experience is helpful, but not required
Duties & Learning includes:
– Safely and efficiently installing gas, wood, and pellet fireplaces, stoves, and inserts
– Connecting venting, gas connections, and simple power supplies
– Roof work
– Identifying venting materials and routing them appropriately, according to manufacturers’ specifications and county/state building codes
– Educating customers on proper fireplace use and care
– Communicating with homeowners, contractors, and county building officials as needed
– Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and the potential for overtime.

Phillips Lifestyles, Northern Michigan’s premier location for fireplaces, spas, and more since 1980, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Worker. If you’re a self-starter, a hard worker, and willing to learn, we want to hear from you.
As a Warehouse Worker, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, pulling orders for the crew, loading and unloading trucks and vans, and helping with deliveries as needed. You must be able to lift 50lbs or more and be willing to work 40-50 hours per week. A valid driver’s license is required.
Requirements:
– Self-starter and able to multitask
– Able to lift 50lbs or more
– Able to follow directions and work hard
– Willing to work 40-50 hours per week

Duties & Learning include:
– Keep warehouse clean and organized=
