Features and design

The Courtyard is made for buyers who want an outdoor fireplace that feels intentional, not improvised. Its stainless steel construction gives it a crisp, durable-looking appearance that suits many outdoor styles. The available 36-inch and 42-inch widths provide useful flexibility, whether the fireplace is being planned for a more compact backyard layout or a larger outdoor room where scale matters. That adaptability makes it easier to create a finished look without forcing the fireplace to dominate the entire design.

Just as important, this model is shaped around the experience of gathering outside. A fireplace can help organize seating, create a natural conversation point, and add visual warmth even before the fire is lit. The Courtyard’s broad viewing area supports that centerpiece role, making it a strong choice for households that want their outdoor space to feel more welcoming during everyday evenings and special occasions alike. In practice, it bridges form and function in a way that suits homeowners who want an attractive fire feature with dependable presence.

The gas format also adds to the convenience. For buyers comparing outdoor fire features, gas can be appealing because it offers a straightforward fire experience and a clean, consistent look. The Courtyard is especially well aligned with people who want to spend more time enjoying their outdoor setting and less time managing a more complicated fire setup. That combination of simplicity, scale options, and visual refinement is what gives this model its broad appeal.

Key specifications

These measurements are valuable when coordinating the fireplace with an outdoor construction plan. The framing dimensions help guide cabinet, wall, and surround decisions, while the 55,000 BTU/hr input gives the Courtyard a strong heating profile for an outdoor environment. The result is a fireplace that is not just decorative, but purpose-built for creating a comfortable atmosphere around a gathering space.

Buyers who are planning a complete backyard upgrade will also appreciate that the specifications are clear enough to support early design conversations. Whether the goal is a more intimate seating zone or a larger entertaining area, the Courtyard’s size options make it easier to choose a configuration that fits the project instead of forcing the project to fit the fireplace.

Phillips Lifestyles service and support

Phillips Lifestyles supports fireplaces with installation and maintenance services, free in-home consultations, and design help. Phillips Lifestyles also offers a spa maintenance program for other product categories and a broader one-stop-shop approach to home recreation and outdoor living.

Shoppers can use the Services page to review installation and maintenance offerings, schedule a Home Consultation for layout and sizing guidance, or request product details through Get Information and Pricing. Phillips Lifestyles also identifies itself as a family-owned Northern Michigan dealer serving customers since 1980, with showrooms in Grawn and Traverse City.
