D’Amour SE Hot Tub by Nordic Hot Tubs

The D’Amour SE is a two-person hot tub built for buyers who want a compact footprint without giving up the comfort and massage feel that make soaking worthwhile. Its deeply bucketed captain’s chairs, 26 Nordic Star jets, and 220V setup give it a strong balance of relaxation and therapeutic-style jet action, while the Northern Lights Package adds an inviting finish for evening use.

For households in Traverse City and nearby communities such as East Jordan, Gaylord, and Mio, the D’Amour SE offers a practical way to bring a premium spa experience home. It suits buyers looking for a refined, space-conscious hot tub supported by the services of Phillips Lifestyles, including installation help, maintenance support, free in-home consultations, and showroom test soaks for hot tub shoppers.

Features and specifications

The D’Amour SE measures 84" x 72" x 34" and seats up to two adults. It holds 205 gallons, weighs 352 pounds dry, and runs on 220 volts with a 40-amp electrical requirement. A 3 hp continuous-duty pump with two-speed operation helps deliver the water flow needed for a satisfying soak, while the 4 kW heater supports consistent warmth. The spa includes 26 jets total, with a jet mix that features Nordic Star directional whirlpool jets, dual rotational jets, and an ozone jet; the ozonator is optional.

This model also gives buyers a clear set of practical choices. Standard foam insulation is included, and Nordic Wrap is available as an upgrade for added thermal protection. Shell finishes are offered in Eclipse, Drift, Coastal, and Shadow, while cabinet color options include Charcoal, Mahogany, Black, and Natural Cedar. Those finish choices make it easier to match the spa to the look of a backyard, patio, or deck without losing the compact footprint that defines the model.

Hydrotherapy and comfort

Comfort is one of the D’Amour SE’s biggest strengths. The deeply seated captain’s chairs are designed to help bathers settle in securely, and the spa’s Dual Therapy System combines high-volume whirlpool flow with targeted direct-pressure jets. That combination is especially appealing for couples or two-person households that want a soak that feels both soothing and invigorating.

The jet layout reinforces that experience with 26 stainless steel Nordic Star jets designed to optimize water flow and pressure. Hip and wrist jets are standard features as well, giving the spa a more complete body-focused feel than many compact two-seat models. If you want a hot tub that feels thoughtfully configured rather than merely scaled down, the D’Amour SE is built around that idea.

The size is another advantage. Not every buyer needs a larger multi-seat spa, and not every backyard can comfortably accommodate one. This model offers a smaller overall footprint while still delivering the core features most people look for: secure seating, adjustable massage action, dependable heating, and a straightforward two-person layout.

Lighting, options, and finish choices

The standard Northern Lights Package adds a polished nighttime atmosphere with an LED-backlit Nordic Cascade waterfall, LED sconce lighting, LED-lit rotational jets, LED-lit cup holders, and LED sidewall lighting. These touches do more than look attractive; they make the spa feel intentional and easy to enjoy after sunset, which matters for year-round use in Northern Michigan.

Buyers can also consider optional upgrades that shape the ownership experience. Bluetooth stereo is available for those who want music during a soak, and Nordic Clean or Nordic Pure ozone options can be selected for owners who want an added sanitation feature. The Nordic Wrap insulation upgrade is another meaningful option for buyers who want extra thermal performance beyond the standard foam insulation.

Those choices give the D’Amour SE a flexible identity. It is compact enough for buyers who value efficiency, but feature-rich enough to feel like a premium spa rather than a basic two-person tub. That balance makes it a strong fit for customers comparing hot tubs in the Traverse City area and beyond. A brief nod to the region’s outdoor appeal is easy to imagine after a day near Young State Park, where a warm soak sounds especially inviting.
