Features and construction

The Durango is built from solid pine and highlights the natural look of live-edge wood. That character is complemented by bandsaw distressing, rustic bolts, and genuine buffalo nickel sights, creating a design that feels authentic and intentionally crafted. For buyers who want a table with visible personality, the finish and wood details do much of the visual work while still keeping the overall presentation clean and timeless.

The playing platform reflects Olhausen Billiards' established manufacturing approach. Each Olhausen pool table is hand-crafted at its 250,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Portland, Tennessee and equipped with Accu-Fast Cushions and a Lifetime Warranty. Those details matter for shoppers who want a pool table that is not just decorative, but built with long-term use in mind. The Durango is offered in Matte Fossil Grey or Matte Breckenridge finish on pine, giving you a choice that can coordinate with rustic, modern farmhouse, or lodge-inspired interiors.

Because it blends furniture-like styling with a true billiards build, the Durango works well in spaces where the table needs to look intentional from every angle. It suits a dedicated game room, but it can also anchor a great room or lower-level entertainment area where the table becomes part of everyday family life. Buyers in Traverse City and nearby areas often want that combination of style and substance: a table that feels substantial, inviting, and ready for years of play.

Sizes and fit

Room planning is often one of the biggest parts of choosing a pool table, and the Durango makes it easier by being available in multiple sizes. It comes in 7 ft, 8 ft, 8 1/2 ft, and 9 ft versions, giving buyers room to match the table to the scale of the room and the style of play they prefer. Outside dimensions vary by size, with modern rail measurements listed for each option. That flexibility is helpful for homeowners in and around Traverse City who are balancing playing space, seating, walkways, and the overall look of the room.

The finish choices also help the table fit into different interiors. Matte Fossil Grey offers a lighter, contemporary rustic look, while Matte Breckenridge on pine gives buyers another coordinated option for cabin-inspired or transitional spaces. Since the wood's natural variation adds character, no two tables will feel exactly alike. That individuality is part of the appeal for shoppers who want their game table to look custom without giving up the consistency of a trusted brand.

These size options matter beyond the central city. In homes across East Jordan, Indian River, and St. Helen, the right fit can make the difference between a table that feels crowded and one that invites regular play. A thoughtfully sized Durango can help a room stay open, comfortable, and visually balanced while still delivering the presence people want from a true centerpiece.

Phillips Lifestyles support

One reason shoppers often choose Phillips Lifestyles is the support available after the purchase decision. The company offers expert installation and maintenance services for entertainment tables, along with free in-home consultations that help with product selection and placement. For a large piece like the Durango, that kind of guidance can be valuable when you are planning the room layout and ensuring the table fits comfortably in the intended space.

Phillips Lifestyles also positions itself as a Northern Michigan destination for billiards and home recreation products, with a knowledgeable team and decades of experience serving the region. If you are exploring a broader entertainment setup, the same showroom experience can help you compare complementary products through the retailer's billiard and game tables selection. For product questions or next steps, the contact page provides an easy path to connect with the team.

For added local context, the nearby setting around Young State Park and Backus Creek State Game Area reflects the kind of Northern Michigan lifestyle where a substantial, well-made game table can feel right at home.

If you are comparing entertainment tables or planning a new room layout, it can also help to review the retailer’s services and free home consultation options before you choose a size.
