Features and construction

The Laguna is made from solid wood and designed with a modern style that still feels warm and classic enough for a wide range of interiors. Its enclosed rail system and flat-paneled cabinet create a streamlined profile, while the turned legs and metal cross bar add visual character and structural presence. In the image shown, the table appears in a matte traditional mahogany finish on maple, giving a sense of the rich, furniture-like appearance buyers often want in a premium game room piece.

Olhausen tables are hand-crafted in a 250,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Portland, Tennessee, and the Laguna includes Accu-Fast Cushions plus a Lifetime Warranty. Those are meaningful details for shoppers who want more than a decorative table: the play surface support, craftsmanship, and warranty coverage all contribute to the overall value of the investment.

Practical details matter just as much as style in a major recreation purchase. The Laguna’s enclosed cabinet profile helps it feel integrated into the room, while the combination of solid-wood construction and traditional leg design gives it a grounded, substantial look. That makes it a strong choice for homeowners who want one piece to anchor the entire space rather than a table that disappears into the background.

Sizes, wood options, and fit

The Laguna is available in 7 ft, 8 ft, 8 1/2 ft, and 9 ft sizes, which makes it easier to match the table to the room and the type of play you prefer. The available wood material choices are maple, oak, cherry, or walnut, and the table can be ordered in all Olhausen finishes. That combination gives shoppers a practical path to coordinate with flooring, cabinetry, wall treatments, and other room features without sacrificing the look of the table.

Outside dimensions vary by size: the 7 ft modern rail version measures 51.5" x 90.5", the 8 ft version measures 56.5" x 100.5", the 8.5 ft version measures 58.5" x 104.5", and the 9 ft version measures 62.5" x 112.5". Drawer availability is noted as fitting under frame, which is helpful when planning storage or accessories around the table. For homeowners across Northern Michigan, that flexibility can make the difference between a table that simply fits and one that feels intentionally placed.

For families and hosts who enjoy gathering around a game room centerpiece, the Laguna is also a natural fit near local weekend destinations like Young State Park: it brings the same easygoing sense of recreation home, without trying to do too much. The appeal is straightforward—solid craftsmanship, thoughtful proportions, and a look that can anchor the room.

That range of options matters in a region where rooms can vary from compact dens to larger finished basements and lodge-style entertainment areas. Whether you are comparing a smaller table for casual play or a full-size layout for more serious games, the Laguna’s size choices make it easier to choose with confidence. Buyers can focus on how the table will look, how it will play, and how it will fit naturally into the room they already have.
