Model S870 Serenity Sauna

The Model S870 Serenity is a refined infrared sauna for buyers who want a comfortable, home-friendly way to unwind without sacrificing style. Features and comfort

The S870 Serenity is designed around a relaxed sauna experience. Its roomy interior supports up to three users, yet the layout is especially appealing if you prefer to stretch out and fully recline. That versatility makes it useful for a range of routines, from quiet solo sessions after a long day to shared time with family members who want the same calm atmosphere. The recline-friendly bench arrangement also helps the sauna feel less confined than many compact wellness products.

Another notable strength is the S-Series feature set. The sauna includes premium low-EMR/low-EF characteristics associated with the line, giving it a more advanced profile for buyers who want infrared comfort with a thoughtfully designed experience. That focus on a gentler-feeling session is paired with Euro styling, creating a look that feels modern and finished rather than purely functional. In a home setting, that balance matters: it is wellness equipment you may be happy to keep visible.

Because the unit is built for comfort as much as convenience, it can serve as a regular part of a self-care routine. A well-placed sauna can become a dependable retreat for evening wind-downs, post-workout recovery sessions, or quiet weekend reset time. The S870 Serenity’s mix of thoughtful ergonomics and polished presentation supports all of those uses without feeling overcomplicated.

Size, power, and placement

Planning matters with any sauna purchase, and the S870 Serenity keeps the basics approachable. It measures 77 inches high, 59 1/2 inches wide, and 59 1/2 inches deep. Those dimensions make it a compact square footprint with enough interior room to feel usable while still fitting into a range of residential settings. For buyers comparing wellness products in homes where space needs to be used carefully, that balance can be a major advantage.

Electrical requirements are equally straightforward. The sauna plugs into a standard 15-amp, 120-volt outlet, which can simplify installation planning for many homes. That plug-in convenience is especially appealing when you want a premium-feeling sauna without stepping into a more demanding electrical project. It does not remove the need to plan for placement, clearance, and everyday access, but it can make the buying decision feel more manageable.

For homeowners across the greater Traverse City region, the combination of a modest footprint and ordinary power requirements creates a practical path to adding a dedicated wellness feature. The S870 Serenity aims to deliver the atmosphere of a private retreat while staying realistic about the constraints of actual homes.

Phillips Lifestyles service support

Phillips Lifestyles has served Northern Michigan since 1980 and backs its product lineup with helpful support. Its services include expert installation and maintenance for hot tubs, swim spas, fireplaces, and entertainment tables, plus free in-home consultations to assist with product selection and placement. For sauna shoppers, that kind of guidance is valuable when you are deciding where the unit should go and how it will fit into the room you already have.

The company also offers direct contact options for questions and planning, along with showroom locations in Grawn and Traverse City. The support model is practical for buyers who want a knowledgeable point of contact during the purchase process rather than a purely transactional checkout. It is also worth noting that Petoskey State Park and nearby lake-country surroundings can make a strong case for having a private relaxation space ready at home after a busy day outdoors.

Why it fits regional buyers

Across Northern Michigan, homes and routines can vary widely, so a sauna has to be more than attractive on paper. The Model S870 Serenity suits that broader audience because it combines premium features with manageable installation basics. Whether you are outfitting a year-round residence or creating a retreat in a seasonal property, the ability to plug in to standard power and use a relatively compact footprint can remove some of the friction from the decision.

Its three-person capacity also gives it flexibility. It can serve as a comfortable personal wellness space, but it is equally ready for shared use when family or guests want in. That makes it a practical fit for households that value both comfort and efficiency. Buyers in places like East Jordan and Petoskey can appreciate a sauna that feels substantial without requiring an oversized room or an elaborate setup.

If your priority is a sauna that looks elegant, feels comfortable to use, and works with sensible home planning, the S870 Serenity offers a clear, appealing package. It is built for relaxed routines and a premium feel, while Phillips Lifestyles provides the product support needed to move from interest to installation with less uncertainty.
