Phillips Lifestyles supports the purchase with showroom guidance, free in-home consultation options, and installation and maintenance services for fireplaces. Key features

The Phoenix TrueView is built around the experience of seeing the fire itself. With no glass barrier, it delivers a wide, open view that feels closer to a traditional hearth while still offering the convenience of a gas appliance. The large 1,197 square-inch viewing area gives the flames substantial presence, making this fireplace a natural focal point in a living room, great room, or custom feature wall.

Several supported details help create a convincing and comfortable fire experience. High-definition logs are designed for a natural look with detailed shaping and carefully chosen materials. The flush hearth presentation creates a traditional appearance where the fireplace floor aligns with the hearth or room floor, which works well in spaces that aim for a built-in architectural finish. Mild heat output makes it easier to enjoy the ambiance without overwhelming the room, so the fireplace can feel at home across a wider stretch of the heating season.

Another standout is WhisperTone technology. This patent-pending system is designed to allow airflow with minimal sound, support horizontal termination, and use an automatic damper that stops air movement when the fireplace is off to help reduce cold air infiltration. For homeowners who want a quieter, cleaner-feeling fireplace installation, that combination adds meaningful value. The unit is rated at 65,000 BTU/hr input, giving it the strength expected from a premium gas fireplace while preserving the open, inviting look.

The Phoenix TrueView also includes speakers, so you can stream music or the crackle of fire as part of the atmosphere. That feature supports relaxed evenings at home, entertaining with friends, or simply creating a more immersive room setting. In practical terms, it turns the fireplace into both a visual and audio centerpiece.

Sizing and installation details

This fireplace is a substantial project piece, with supported specifications that help guide planning: framing width 51-3/8 inches, framing depth 28 inches, and framing height 74-5/8 inches. Those dimensions make it well suited to installations where the fireplace is intended to read as an intentional part of the room architecture rather than a small accent feature.

The supported viewing area and framing dimensions also make early planning important. Phillips Lifestyles offers free in-home consultations to help with product selection, location planning, and measuring existing areas. That kind of guidance can be especially useful when you want to coordinate a fireplace with surrounding finishes, clearances, and room layout from the beginning.

For buyers across the broader northern Michigan area, that practical support matters as much as the design itself. Whether you are updating a home in Traverse City or coordinating a new project in East Jordan, Ludington, or Mio, a fireplace like this works best when the aesthetic goals and installation details are aligned from the start.

A local note: a stop near Young State Park can be a pleasant reminder of the area’s outdoor setting, while the fireplace brings that warm, inviting feeling indoors.

Phillips Lifestyles also says it is Northern Michigan’s premiere spa and fireplace dealer and maintains showrooms in Grawn and Traverse City. For homeowners who appreciate personal guidance and a service-minded retailer, that is a useful advantage when choosing a major fireplace feature.
