Features and design

The Twilight Modern is built to create a standout flame presentation. Its unique indoor/outdoor viewing gives you fireside enjoyment from either side of the living experience, making it especially attractive for open-concept homes and outdoor entertaining spaces. The crushed glass firebed adds a refined, modern detail beneath the flames, while the 36-inch wide format helps the fireplace feel substantial without overwhelming the room.

Another major benefit is the direct vent design with no chimney required. That makes it easier to integrate the fireplace into a broader design plan while preserving a clean appearance. The flame and ember presentation can vary with fuel and venting configuration, but the overall effect is intended to be visually striking and welcoming. For buyers who want a fireplace that feels both decorative and functional, this model balances atmosphere, structure, and convenience well.

Control options add another layer of everyday appeal. You can operate the fireplace with the IntelliFire app, a touchscreen remote, or a wireless wall switch, giving you flexibility in how you manage the fire. Whether you prefer app-based control or a simple wall-mounted switch, the fireplace is designed to fit your routine.

Specifications and sizing

The Twilight Modern Gas Fireplace 2 includes a viewing area of 35-5/8 x 21-1/2 inches. Overall appliance width is 43 inches, with an appliance height of 46-7/8 inches and an appliance depth of 24 inches. Framing dimensions measure 44 inches wide, 23 inches deep, and 47-5/8 inches high. The appliance rear width is 43 inches, while the framing front width and framing back width are both 44 inches.

Heat input is listed at 38,000 BTU/hr on natural gas. As with any gas fireplace, actual heating performance depends on fuel type, venting, and installation conditions. The manufacturer notes that product appearance, including the flame, can differ from the image shown, and the owner’s manual should always be reviewed for clearance requirements and full specifications before installation.

Because this model is designed for indoor/outdoor viewing, it is especially appealing for spaces where one fire feature needs to do more than one job. It can help define a gathering area, add ambiance to a patio-facing room, or serve as a design anchor in a modern remodel. That versatility is part of what makes it stand out among buyers who want a fireplace with both architectural presence and everyday usability.

Phillips Lifestyles service and support

Phillips Lifestyles supports homeowners with more than product selection. Its services include expert installation and maintenance for fireplaces, free in-home consultations, and design help to determine the best placement and fit for the space. The company also offers service and support through its team of experienced professionals, which is helpful when a fireplace is part of a larger remodel or home improvement plan.

Local homeowners looking for a modern gas fireplace can also explore the vendor’s broader fireplace selection or request help through services and home consultation options. Phillips Lifestyles has been serving Northern Michigan since 1980, and its showroom-based approach makes it easier for buyers to ask questions, compare options, and plan a fireplace installation with confidence.

When a project calls for follow-through after the purchase, it also helps that the business offers direct service pathways rather than leaving homeowners to navigate the installation process alone. That can be especially reassuring for households across the region, whether they are planning a new focal point for a main living space or updating a gathering area with a cleaner modern look.
