York Olhausen Billiards Pool Table

The York is a modern pool table designed for buyers who want a refined centerpiece with dependable play quality. Its enclosed solid wood rail system, flat paneled apron, and pedestal base legs create a clean, substantial look that suits dedicated game rooms and finished living spaces alike. For households across Traverse City and nearby communities, the York brings together furniture-grade style and classic billiards performance in a way that feels easy to live with and easy to enjoy.

At Phillips Lifestyles, the York is presented as part of an established Northern Michigan showroom experience backed by knowledgeable guidance and practical service support. That combination matters when you are choosing a table that should fit both the room and the way your family plays. Shoppers in Traverse City, Petoskey, Big Rapids, and Mio can use the product’s size and finish options to look for a table that fits the home as well as the game.

Features and design

The York’s design focuses on a streamlined, contemporary profile without losing the traditional presence expected from a premium pool table. The enclosed solid wood rail system gives the table a tailored architectural look, while the flat paneled apron helps it read more like a finished furniture piece than a purely recreational accessory. Pedestal base legs add visual weight and stability to the overall design, giving the table a grounded presence in the room.

Playability is supported by Accu-Fast Cushions, an important feature for buyers who want responsive bank action and consistent play. That makes the York suitable for both casual family games and more serious home play. The combination of modern styling and proven billiards components is a strong fit for buyers who want a table that feels polished now and remains appealing over time.

The table is hand-crafted at Olhausen’s 250,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Portland, Tennessee, and comes with a Lifetime Warranty. Those details speak to long-term ownership value, which matters for a major purchase intended to become part of the home’s routine gathering space.

Size and material options

The York is available in a broad range of sizes: 6 ft, 7 ft, 8 ft, 8 1/2 ft, 9 ft, 10 ft, and 12 ft. That flexibility helps buyers choose a footprint that matches the room they have available and the style of play they want. Smaller sizes may suit multipurpose spaces, while larger tables are a better fit for dedicated game rooms and more open interiors.

Material options include maple, oak, cherry, and walnut, with all Olhausen finishes available. The featured image shows a cinnamon finish on maple. Because finish and wood choices affect the final look, the York can be tailored to coordinate with a wide range of interior styles, from warm traditional rooms to cleaner modern spaces.

Outside table dimensions vary by configuration, so room planning is important before ordering. The modern rail measurements listed for the York scale with the selected size, giving buyers a clearer sense of how the table will occupy the room. Drawer availability is listed as not available, which keeps the profile focused on the clean lines of the table itself.

For a pool table, dimensions matter just as much as appearance. It is worth measuring cue clearance, seating, and walking space carefully so the finished layout feels balanced once the table is installed. Phillips Lifestyles can help customers think through those practical decisions before they commit.

Phillips Lifestyles support

Phillips Lifestyles supports its product lineup with services that make ownership more manageable. The company offers expert installation and maintenance services, including help for entertainment tables, along with free in-home consultations that can assist with room planning and product selection. That is especially useful for a billiards purchase, where placement and clearances are part of getting the setup right.

Customers can also use the contact page to speak with the team or submit a product inquiry for additional information and pricing. Phillips Lifestyles has served Northern Michigan since 1980 and operates showrooms in Grawn and Traverse City, giving local shoppers a familiar place to explore the brand and ask questions.

Beyond the York itself, the business also maintains service options for other product categories through its broader showroom operation. That matters because major purchases often go better when the retailer can answer product questions and provide follow-up support after delivery.

Local buying context

For people living across the Traverse City area, the York offers a polished way to build a recreation space that feels intentional rather than improvised. It suits buyers who want a pool table that can serve as both a game centerpiece and a visual anchor in the home. Nearby homeowners in Petoskey, Big Rapids, and Mio can look at the available sizes and wood choices to find a version that fits the room they already have.

A local landmark such as Petoskey State Park provides a recognizable point of reference for the broader region, but the main draw here is still the table itself: a well-built billiards piece with a modern profile, premium materials, and long-term ownership value.
