This is a question we get all the time, and it’s a very valuable question to ask. First let’s define BTU. BTU stands for British Thermal Unit, which is a unit of measurement for heat.
The higher the BTU, the higher the heat output. In order to determine how many BTUs are right for your needs, first you’ll need to measure the square footage of the area you want to heat.
